Thanks to Katie and Missy for producing such great content through many of life’s changes. I appreciate your podcast and your contribution to the conversation about swimming!!
Initially I loved this podcast. I’m a former D1 swimmer, now I swim masters. I loved hearing about all the athletes, especially from the non swimmers. But now it’s just a continuous repeat of UVA/Texas/Olympians. How many times do we need to hear from the Walsh sisters? There have to be other people with compelling stories.
I wanted to like this podcast, however, I was disappointed with each episode because of poor interviewing skills—lack of depth in the questions, no lead-in for the listeners. I ended up being confused hearing some of the stories they were telling because I wasn’t sure what they were referencing. Being a former swimmer, I would’ve loved this podcast years ago, but now I feel like I’m too old and I have no idea what they’re talking about. They need to include more background and explanations simp... more
I have been listening since the beginning and have never been disappointed by Missy, Katie or Beisel. They are all such legends in the sport. They know how to bring a smile to anyone’s face with their fun loving personalities! I love how they get to know each swimmer so personally. And, to them if they are reading this, please get Lèon Marchand and Ilya Kharun on!
This podcast is a highlight of the week. I so look forward to each episode dropping and seeing who they’ll have on next. I love the mix of guests they’ve had so far, but am looking forward to more of the swimming stars of the past. Thanks for all you do to elevate swimming a little higher.
