This is more than a cat podcast. It’s full of inspiring city stories of people coming together, caring and coming up with new ways to make things better. Thanks for getting these voices out in the light. God bless you guys!
Super informative podcast
Very informative series that does a great job of explaining one of the overlooked issues of NYC.
Very informative and sheds light on the crisis in NYC and many other places.
An interesting look into the outside cat population in NYC and the people who take care of the cats, try to neuter them so they don't overpopulate worse, help people so they can keep their pets in the first place, etc. (They are not all feral! A lot are pets the owners had to let go of and desperately did not want to.) It's a complicated problem, but on the scale of complicated problems in the world it's more manageable than most, and it's an uplifting listen that inspires me to go do more!

The podcast explores the hidden cat crisis in New York City, emphasizing the systemic issues and challenges that contribute to the overwhelming population of stray cats. Through heartfelt stories and expert insights, it sheds light on the efforts of local caretakers, community outreach initiatives, and the emotional toll that caring for these cats often takes on individuals. Conversations extend to the need for more affordable veterinary care, housing stability for pet owners, and coordinated community actions to foster a sustainable impact on the welfare of felines across the city. The unique focus is on systemic solutions rather than simply rescue narratives, making it a critical resource for animal lovers and advocates alike.
