Love the content and insightful discussions, but I beg of you to work on the sound quality of the show. It’s bad enough that I am deducting stars from the rating of the show based on sound quality alone. There are several reviews that have commented on this over the years, yet there has been no care to fix this issue.
Another update: You’re losing me with the plastic episode. I just don’t find the guest credible. It is good that you announced the sponsorship but it still makes me suspicious of the credibility of the information for the first time.
Update: Took away a star because while the content is still good and the guests are fantastic, the sound effects are still SO CRINGE! Please get rid of them. They are startling and confusing and juvenile; they sound like a phone alarm or an alert on the car or ano... more
I came for unbiased science but feel like I got a lecture from the pharmaceutical industry. Look for honest and engaged inquiry elsewhere.
I really appreciate that the hosts (and guests) use scientific grounding as the basis of their arguments. In a day and age where politics are so divisive, it’s refreshing to have a podcast that dishes me the facts and expert opinions, and then gives me the tools and information so that I can make my own evidence-based conclusions about each topic they discuss. So grateful for the hosts who sift through the clickbait and present scientific facts.
Great content, but guest really disgrace themselves when that let politics get In the way of the message

A scientifically grounded health show that critically examines evidence behind everyday wellness topics. The hosts consistently push for data-driven discussion, translating complex research into practical guidance for families and health-conscious audiences. Recent episodes reveal a pattern of exploring public health policy, pediatric and family health, sleep and neuroscience, nutrition, and consumer health topics, often featuring clinicians, researchers, and public health experts as guests. A notable strength is the host pair's emphasis on clear explanations, transparency about limitations, and a willingness to challenge popular myths with primary literature.
