I normally would give 5 star but I think you missed the fact that religion is man made and has been corrupt. Having grown up in a neighborhood where priest were molesting kids and the church covered it up - how in the world would I trust the Catholic Church. I agree to connect with community and I extend myself to help others daily but to suggest sitting in a church is what we all should do is just bring ignorant to the lies other had to endure.
I love this podcast and have recommended it to my friends. But the most recent one went into politics and that’s not acceptable. You have spent years building a reputation about staying out of politics and you just ruined it with one episode. There was so much wrong with how you presented it too. It was awful.
Thank you for the episode with Aaron Lazar! It was so moving and uplifting! And congrats to Aaron on having his album nominated for a Grammy!
I love listening each week . Mitch is such a caring loving person . He serves selflessly at the orphanage . I love the Morris stories and hearing about his books .
Each episode has an excellent, positive message. Having been to Haiti many times myself I especially enjoy the updates about the mission and the successes and challenges of the kids there. My only minor critique of the podcast is I find Lisa’s frequent “awwww” interjections a bit distracting.
