Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

202: Concerning the End of All Things
Q: What is your current view on the rapture in relation to the tribulation?
Over time I've shifted from post-tribulational premillennialism to a pre-tribulational premillennialism, meaning I now believe the rapture occurs before the tribulation.
202: Concerning the End of All Things
Q: What interpretive methods are used to understand the millennium, and which view do you favor?
There are several hermeneutical approaches (amillennial, postmillennial, premillennial); I favor historic premillennialism, which emphasizes a literal, chronological unfolding of events and a future, literal millennium.
202: Concerning the End of All Things
Q: How important is this topic of eschatology and why?
It's essential because eschatology frames the end of history not as random events but as the culmination of God's redemptive plan, giving believers confidence and freedom from perpetual uncertainty.
