This is one of the only podcasts That I have downloaded. So refreshing to hear and see the perspective of a Afghan/American woman. Thank you for your fearlessness. Thank you for not watering it down to please others. Everyone please support this podcast and “Sexy Boss Babe” as that revenue allows Arzo to bring us this great content.
I loved your topic about the duality in some Afghan’s live & how this duality changes their outlook towards their families. I am glad that you confirmed the shock parents go through when finding about their child’s hidden lifestyle or secrets.
My favorite was the part where most Afghan guys living in the western societies have all the fun with other women & then want to have a virgin wife! This is so wrong.
I enjoy listening to Arzo speak her truth and being open and honest about her life. She makes a lot of valid points about our culture and shares intimate details about her own life to relate to the listener. I enjoy listening to her and her passion for what she does.
An honest conversation about what’s it’s like being an Afghan-American woman. Something I’d definitely recommend for everyone to listen to because navigating life as a strong brown woman isn’t easy and Arzo’s stories will help inspire you to be at your best!
