So inspiring I love this podcast I’m 26 years out from bypass surgery. Although I’ve kept my weight off all these years I’ve hit my plateau and gained 20 pounds back from my 100 lb weight loss. And it’s like that old saying 2 steps forward 3steps back. Starting over again and I needed something and someone else’s advice, encouragement and inspiration. Thank you ladies for the journey I’m taking with you all.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

When Food Becomes a Weapon: Childhood Trauma, Body Image & Breaking Free
Q: Is there anything that you can say to people in marriages or family dynamic situations where people are actively trying to sabotage their weight loss goals?
I would gray rock. You can take the food, whatever it is that they give you and dump it in the trash or in the bathroom. There's so many ways we can protect ourselves.
When Food Becomes a Weapon: Childhood Trauma, Body Image & Breaking Free
Q: Can you offer up some advice as far as mastering the exit and toxic people go in our lives?
You have to learn to be with yourself. If you've got a spouse or someone else doing that, you really have to consider counseling to make that marriage work.
Losing 190 Pounds: Scott’s Journey from Self-Hate to Self-Respect
Q: Can you share some words of wisdom about how you approach this?
Find your why, as it will help you through tough times when you want to quit.
Plastic Surgery Survival Guide with Mavi (Part 1)
Q: What is the number one thing you think that people miss and then regret after surgery?
Many people underestimate the need for time to recover after surgery, believing they will bounce back quickly when that's often not the case.
Countdown to Surgery: Teresa’s Breast Transformation with Dr. Charlie Chen
Q: Why are we going to be doing implants instead of fat transfer?
Implants are a reliable way to add volume, especially since Teresa has already lost the bulk of her fat.
