Along the west coast of America lies a 2,650 mile continuous path connecting the states of California, Oregon and Washington - the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). Every year thousands of thru-hikers from across the world pack their bags and set off, hoping to complete the daunting Mexico to Canada hike. This year, 2019, Ethan Wrigglesworth and Molly Meadows are among that crowd, and invite you to join ... more

One day from Snoqualmie, so you not what to expect - lots of talk about food. It is however, an unusual pre town day as Snoqualmie is set to be the last town stop before the end of the trail. Naturally there are mixed feelings about this. The journey... more
Leaving Mt Rainier behind, Molly and Ethan plod their way through yet another burnt woodland but this time, from the fertile soils sprout small clusters of strawberries - not quite the selection at Sainsbury's but a delightful treat for the eyes if a... more
The team pass through a tourist hotspot as it draws close to the Labor Day national holiday. The usually quiet and thru-hiker occupied territory of the PCT is shared with countless national and international day hikers enjoying the trails around Mt R... more
One of those days; not a bad day but, just one of those ya know?
Following the explosion of beauty the day before at Knifes Edge, we dive into forests on a day of drizzle. It is beautiful and wild, but quiet. Lethargy sinks it's claws in. The day ... more
I found this podcast as I embarked on a virtual challenge of the PCT. Following along when Ethen and Molly as they tackled the real thing is making my local hikes the more vivid. But even though I’m only still early on, I’m panicking at not hearing the end because the episodes seem to have ended without reaching the northern terminus even though I know they were successful. Don’t keep us in suspense!
I had the opportunity to give Molly and Ethan a ride from Sonora Pass to Bridgeport after dropping off two hikers who were just beginning their trek northward. Molly and Ethan are amazing young people and their positive energy was wonderful to experience. They, and the two hikers I dropped off (Karson and Veronica) have inspired me to plan doing some of the PCT next year (at 62 years old). Safe travels Molly and Ethan.
My wife and I did some trail magic and had the oportunity to meet Molly and Ethan. They are great likeable people. I'm sure they'll remember us, for sure Molly will remember the Gatorade and Red Vine candy.
Happy trails and be safe, looking forward to hear more of you here.
Informative. Funny. I can’t wait to hear you more. You guys are helping me mark my books!
Very helpful new vocabulary. And excellent voices to soothe me to sleep. Will be listening to these two and their daily adventures and I recommend to you all to do the same.
