I have only just started listening to this series am already enjoying it.
I took 1 star off the rating as the audio could ideally be ‘normalised’. Richard’s voice is a lot lower in volume than Jules which means I have to keep adjusting the volume while listening especially when I am in the car or on a train. Otherwise, worth a listen for sure.
I could listen to Richard E Grant read the phone book, but I wish this was a little more engaging. Feels a little stilted. Maybe they will find their rhythm.
Also, the audio mix could be much better - it’s sooo quiet particularly on Richard’s audio! Have to keep turning it up and down.
If you love hotels, you will find this podcast intriguing. It brings each hotel to life in a lively, colourful way! I found the stories behind these iconic destinations intriguing. @kellystravel_
Found this by chance, but Richard E is a firm favourite and this series does not disappoint.
I loved this. The two presenters complement each other in their delivery and the historical detail is fascinating.
