I only listened to season one however it was very repetitive. There was absolutely no need for it to be that long. There wasn’t very much new information presented and the same facts were spelt out constantly won’t be listening to season two after that.
The twists and turns had me cancelling plans and staying home to clean the house with this on play through my speaker ! A real insight into Australian crime / policing / the RC church / attitudes to women / child abuse. It’s unbelievable journalism ; very insightful - incredibly investigative - and persistent. This is award winning.
What a fantastic series, 2 season are just not enough. I wish there were more.

Listened to series 1 the bookshop murder and series 2 the informant. Well put together podcast. I hope the family of Maria can get some answers. I liked especially hearing from the retired cop who never forgot the case
