Erik Maund had it all. A wife and kids, a mansion by the Austin Country Club golf course, and an executive position with his family’s car dealership. But in March 2020, a message from a stranger put everything at risk. Someone knew Erik had an affair with an escort, and wanted money to keep quiet. Erik didn’t pay the money, though. He didn’t go to the cops, either. Instead, he paid Charlie Sheen’s... more

Great podcast with great narrator and guest. It’s crazy I had not heard of this. Wish yall would do one on the man from Comanche that Texas monthly did a story on when he was murdered by who many believe was the sherif deputies.
This is a great podcast, seriously one of my new faves. I was engaged from beginning to end, i was never bored; I cared about the players, & the music is the bow on top. Great job guys; keep up the good works!
She’s smart! And unlike many podcasters, she’s not annoying. She doesn’t draw attention to herself. She just tells the story clearly.
These podcasts are very well done. Season one makes me really sad. I’m afraid that sweet boy took his own life because of his fear of judgment. Even by his own mother and their radical Christian views. I really hate Texas.
This podcast is so well-done, in every way. What a treasure. I felt so much for Holly. This case reminds me of the movie Fargo, so much irony, disregard for life and just plain bad luck. Thank you for sharing this scathing portrait of humanity, it needs to be known.
