  • Been watching since a kid

Honestly the best podcast up to date. Been listening to this podcast since I was a child and my dad used to play it in the car for us. Totally increased my understanding of sports and just an all around great show. Love it when Tobin and Leroy crash out as well.

Sorry, but the gestapo paying for ads looking for suckers (with bonuses they’ll never pay out) is a good look. Blame the 1 star on Audacy.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

(Clip) 05-01-26 Jack McCullum
Q: Why isn't Hicks' hot start necessarily a coming out party for him?
Because projecting him to a 50-home-run pace from a short, early run would ignore the typical volatility of a long season and the limitations of a small sample; it's possible his current stretch isn't indicative of his overall trajectory.
(Clip) 05-01-26 Jack McCullum
Q: What have you thought so far of Liam Hicks' season?
Hicks has been a surprise with strong early power and RBI production, but there is nuance about whether this will hold as the season progresses given the small sample size and variability in baseball performance.
(HR 3.) Heat & Panthers Can't Live Off Past Glory
Q: What's your take on the team's direction after the season?
Hosts debate the need for better continuity, more urgency, and adjustments in coaching decisions, stressing that the season's outcomes reflect on the organization rather than individual excuses.
Best Interviews on WQAM: April 13-17
Q: Do you think Aaron Rodgers is back with Pittsburgh?
Baldinger hedges that there is speculation around Rodgers' status and that teams may be waiting to hear a public declaration before the draft.
Best Interviews on WQAM: April 13-17
Q: What do you think about the guard/tackle group in this draft?
Baldinger explains his view that some guards in the draft could project to tackle and that the Miami guard prospects could become all-pros; he cites examples from past drafts to illustrate potential trajectories.
