  • thankyou

So happy to hear Charlie Sykes again for his intellect and sense of humor. I can't stand listening to the Bulwark anymore with the new host, so very happy Charlie has a podcast again! Thankyou for what you do Charlie

  • Please Fix Sound Levels

Adore Charlie and love the podcast, but can you please fix the audio. Too often it sounds like Charlie is whispering and his guest is screaming or vice versa. Having to keep adjusting the volume to hear one speaker and avoid your ear drums getting blown out by the other gets old. Levels need to be equalized in post.

  • Guests of uneven quality

Love Charlie Sykes, but I only listen when he’s got a first-rate guest, not a retread or someone arcane or who is irrelevant to the moment. (Daily podcasting is different – never missed an episode of his Bulwark podcast.) Harry Litman, who needs media training for his long-windedness, interrupted way too much. It was distracting and annoying and I didn’t make it past minute 14.

  • Charlie

I have great respect for Charlie, but the production quality of these episodes is awful. The delays on Zoom that cause people to constantly interrupt each other, in particular, are unbearable. Invest a few bucks and do these right, please.

  • Never thought…

I cried when you signed off the Bulwark for the last time. If you told me 10 years ago I’d follow Charlie Sykes wherever he went I would have thrown my shoe at you but here I am. I never miss an episode.

Q: What would it mean if Trump invoked the Insurrection Act?
It grants him considerable power to deploy military enforcement domestically, raising serious concerns about civil liberties and the rule of law.
