I’m here for Sarah and Tim. JVL can be tough. No sense of timing. He beats a point to death and often breaks the flow of otherwise excellent discussions. (For the love of all that is holy do not let Sam join / ruin this show, he’s the worst. At least JVL is smart so eventually there is a payoff.)
Trump added a new addition to slush fund…no indictments for Family or tax audits either. This is unreal using our tax dollars for this!

High-signal political analysis with brisk banter, focusing on current events, campaigns, elections, and the norms and tactics shaping democratic politics. Episodes frequently dissect redistricting, constitutional questions, consumer/policy drama, and foreign policy with a liberal-democratic framing, while weaving in pop culture and ad reads. Noteworthy is the trio's mix of sharp debate and occasional humor, producing a candid, fast-paced discussion that often challenges conventional political strategy and messaging. The format blends policy depth with accessible culture talk, making it useful for listeners who want thoughtful, opinionsated takes on how politics intersects with media, elections, and governance.
