  • Don’t mention the growth

Our growth obsessed economic system is the primary cause of our environmental problems. This series makes no attempt to address this fundamental problem. Growth is the problem, not the solution.

  • Sharply intelligent, realistic climate reporting

This is excellent listening: all the great reporting I’ve come to expect from The Economist turned to focus on the climate emergency and COP26. The hosts are engaging as they present stories of the work done and left to do by NGOs and nations alike. It has been wonderful, and I urge The Economist to do more of it.
