莲萼标名今时持名念佛之人，多在数量及十念计数中著眼，听之一字，丢却者多。如是则成事倍功半之势，无怪念佛者多，得一心者少也。辛丑安居之际，试将佛号录音，遂专听音声，兼十念计数。数日下来，较以往口念更易摄心，且不至久念耗气，身感疲倦。如是锻炼耳根，听之纯熟，则专听可，口念亦可，皆不妨碍。是时方体印祖之摄耳谛听，自有妙意。 自行佛号录音时，不须唱诵，只须直念即可。亦不可过快，以三千五至四千句佛号每小时为适当。初念三声南无阿弥陀佛，继而只念阿弥陀佛四字，共计一百零八句（整一串佛珠数量）。复念南无阿弥陀佛三声，继而只念阿弥陀佛四字，共计一百零八句。如是反复，念十八遍，或二十遍（亦即佛珠二十串），大约一支香时间（四十五分钟）。录音毕，保存至手机，闲暇即可专听。空少则专听一支香，空多则可连续听几支香。凡听佛号时，无须持念珠，或端坐，或经行、礼拜，皆无不可，然须十念计数。因前录音，每串起始皆为三声六字佛号，余为四... more
