Dr. Niebauer’s simple but always insightful podcasts help me take stock of what I believe as a Christian. I’m always learning something new (nearly identical versions of the Apostle’s Creed developed in different geographical locations?) and savoring familiar concepts through new terms and analogies (attunement to God like the tuning of a violin in an orchestra). I listen to this on my own, but I also think it would be great to listen to with my daughter once she’s older.
Grateful for this grounding podcast, which explores the essential texts that guide the Christian faith and take the listener back to that which is true and promised about God and His nature. In a fallen world, our misguided and varied interpretations of scripture and of theology can create a picture of Christianity that may be simultaneously beloved by some believers and abhorred by others.
