Left Right & Center is for listeners who feel like people on the other side of the political divide are on Mars. David Greene pieces together the big picture by inviting people from the left and the right to unpack their ideological differences, not to smooth them over, and look at what’s truly at stake. The show offers a rare kind of clarity. It doesn’t ask you to agree. It asks you to look more ... more

Came back year later and still the same milquetoast moderator and eight grade civics lesson vibe. The center is no longer represented David is a host who does not express his own perspective often enough. The topics these days are very meta (discussion about discussions about topics). David loves asking “what does this say about our current politics” but rarely is there any real content in the discussion. They need to return to more concrete policy discussions with some politics. Right now... more
I’ve always liked this show, even though it’s from NPR and the center is certainly not in the center. At least Josh and Dave were fair, I’ll give them that. But I can’t deal with Mo anymore. I often like his takes. However, he had the opportunity to rise above talking about the America 250 celebrations, which are happening all over the country, with an anti-Trump spin and he couldn’t do it. He had the opportunity to show that democrats also love our country regardless of who is in the White Hous... more
Is it data or data? I’m glad I’m not the only one wondering!
This is my go to for political podcasts. I always enjoy listening to what everyone has to say. We need more discussions like the way the hosts civilly discuss hot political topics. Thank you! Also, I appreciate the humor in each episode!
Today was a new low. Fully a 1/3 of the show on an inane listener question meant solely to cater to the leftist lunatics in the Substack. There has yet to ever be a single listener question from anyone on the actual right. There were a few from people posing as being on the right, but those of course were finally “seeing the light” and becoming leftists.
This show is often unlistenable. I get it’s hard to find anyone to support Trump without lying or burying their head in the sand, but you have to try. Sarah is good but she’s a never trumper. Mike is either delusional or an incredible liar, or likely both. Trump is doing the most glaring corruption in American history and they were less animated that ever, like nothing is happening. Liz has no interest in anything outside her pet issues.

The show curates brisk, policy-focused conversations that bring together perspectives from across the political spectrum. Across episodes, topics frequently center on democracy, elections, governance, and pressing social issues such as abortion, immigration, and foreign policy. Moderation by a steady host tends to push for clarity and accountability, while recurring panelists from the left and right challenge each other with rigorous, civically oriented debate. A notable strength is its willingness to feature multiple viewpoints and to tackle complex policy questions without resorting to sensationalism, making it a useful listen for listeners who want to understand competing arguments and the practical implications of political decisions.
