After listening to this show for 15-20 years I’m wondering if it’s time to stop. I could not believe it when they said twice that there were increased number of autism AFTER factoring out improved screening techniques. Shame on these podcasters. If they do not apologize I will be unfollowing
I’ve listened to this show for 12 years and I’m just tired of the half in half out this is slate for Christ sake! Ive heard professors on amicus stick their neck out more than you three journalists
Emily it’s so funny you mention that movie. I recently rewatched, and it was as lovely as I remember. So great to move away from all the horror happening in the world. Thanks to all of you for your weekly calm, sane, cogent insights.
I learned of this podcast from Steven Colbert's show. Several years later, the three hosts seem like old friends who I can't wait to hear from each Thursday. Thanks to all three, for contextualizing and parsing recent developments for us. I like the combination of intellectual enthusiasm without being overly angry or emotional. Thanks to They Might be Giants for the great theme music ... what an honor to have those guys as fans!
I used to love this podcast. It’s one of only a handful I keep up with. But after their post-Kirk episode, I’m done. This is drivel. You can say that his death shouldn’t have happened without making him sound like some kind of free speech saint whose ideas are just “different” rather than blatantly racist. I’m sure Plotz will be sobbing at his funeral thinking of his poor wife and kids. Keep this energy with all shootings and political deaths or get off it. Parents die in Gaza every day. In fron... more
