  • Love learning about the future and sales

Christmas fireside Chad style really makes his podcast easy to listen to. The idea of an AI firewall protecting us from all the endless sales fan. We get was really really interesting. Definitely a concept I hadn’t thought of before.

These are brisk to listen to, and to the point. Topics such as these are daunting to many, but a novice can “break-in” with this podcast.

  • Amazing food for thought for the very open minded

Let's put it this way... the show was 15 minutes long, and after the third minute I hit the "subscribe" button. TF does something few people do and even fewer do WELL... asks you to take a serious look at where our society is going and what big-picture changes are happening. What I love is that the show is fully aware that so many developments are unpredictable. Not recommended for people closed to new ideas

1136 Can Technology Fix Democracy? | Travis Misurell on Citizen Power and the Future of Elections
Q: How will the scoring work for candidates and journalists, and how will you handle bias?
For candidates, we rely on data like donations tracked on OpenSecrets or the FEC and other indicators; for journalists, scoring will be citizen-driven with lots of focus groups to calibrate fairness and reduce partisan bias. The goal is to combine objective data with citizen input to reduce bias over time.

Q: What caused you to start the project and how do you describe its core mission?
The project arose from seeing how money, media, and gatekeepers skew politics. The core mission is to create a citizen-owned platform that surfaces all candidates and independent journalists, reduces the influence of big money, and provides a transparent democracy score to help people vote for what they actually want.
1129 The Internet Is Over | Nick Richtsmeier on Trust, Techno-Feudalism, and A Humanist Alternative

1129 The Internet Is Over | Nick Richtsmeier on Trust, Techno-Feudalism, and A Humanist Alternative
