Annie has a gift. She has an ability to illustrate their family story in such a way that destigmatizes the health concerns society finds taboo. As a mom I can feel the pain for your son in addition to the victims. They deserve to heal and live full lives. Your son deserves answers to his health, and a better life than how it started.
Listening to this podcast feels like sitting with another mom who truly gets it. Her honesty, courage, and advocacy give me hope and remind me that I’m not walking this road alone.
Thank you Annie for sharing your journey and letting others know that they are not alone.
I’ve been following Annie on TikTok for a while now. This podcast provides a deeper analysis of Annie’s experience of adoption. It is a sensitive, authentic and moving exploration of the complexity of adoption, the lack of post adoption support and ultimately, a story of enduring familial love, through the best and worst of times.
The pain this mother has endured and the unending love for her children is palpable.
