I’ve never been in a cult, or high demand religion or group, but this is my favorite podcast. Shelise is a great host. Very respectful and doesn’t annoyingly talk over her guest. 10/10 ❤️
Shelise is an extremely respectful and natural interviewer. She’s not a professor and runs her side hustle so they can offer their platform. Some people may not like her style. It is conversational and expressive vs. an esoteric educational panel. She doesn’t interrogate her guests like a reporter or presume to have in-depth knowledge of their sects. Interesting topic but delivery is poor. In their enthusiasm … which is understandable.., they speak too fast, talk over each other. Delivery and flow of information is negatively affected. But keep on trying to improve!!!! These topics need the exposure you are poised to bring to it!
This show has so much potential! But it needs some serious editing. Often the interview goes off topic or astray and the questions don’t get answered and the interviewee repeats themselves. It’s possible the YouTube interview is better, but I’m not interested in watching.
Thank you all for sharing! So brave! Love from Sweden
