Concept is good for this pod, but between Mr. F and the scattered intro talk this pod doesn’t start usually till about mark 20, Male host add nothing. Why do you have him on?
Roberta’s dedication to helping others not just come out of mlms but the emotional support that nobody can relate to that haven’t experienced the “life reset” upon the departure of these groups deserves praise. Well done Roberta.
I listened to an episode about ACN and I was really looking forward to hearing his story. But the host constantly interrupts him! I was hitting the skip 30 second button every time she chimed in, sometimes multiple times! I’m debating about whether I should listen to part two. I don’t dislike her but her constant commentary was so unnecessary! Let your guest tell his story!!
When Roberta talks about MLMs, she is amazing. Lately the content has been all over the place, and mostly about cults. While I love culty podcasts, this isn’t Roberta’s strength or why I tune in. I wish she’d get back to her original focus or rebrand. This isn’t really an MLM podcast anymore. And yes, the Mr. F banter drives me nuts.
Newbie here. I like the core of the episodes. I thought I was being a jerk, but I see literally no one cares about the banter looking at the reviews. "MR F" is absolutely cringe. A short update intro is fine, but a 20 minute banter, babe I'm skipping that every single time. The one time I did listen to an episode with this guy in it, I wanted to throw my phone it was SO bad and he derailed the entire episode. It could have been good, but he's so off base and completely ruined the flow.

Listeners tune in for rigorous, data-informed discussions about MLMs, cult-like dynamics, and the regulatory and ethical issues surrounding direct-selling schemes. Episodes explore high-profile cases, regulatory actions, and financial abuse narratives, often pairing investigative storytelling with practical takeaways for recruits, former participants, and professionals researching fraud, consumer protection, or organizational psychology. A standout feature is the balance between critical analysis and compassionate storytelling, with guests including survivors and experts who provide firsthand perspectives on manipulation, coercive tactics, and rebuilding after leaving predatory systems.
