Dream fans....WE ARE BACK!

We're reimagining The Dream as a weekly interview podcast with guests and segments about, I don't know.... whatever we want? Don't worry! We'll still be focused on the "American Dream" and all the assholes that make it infinitely harder to achieve. We'll just have a bit more freedom in how we present it.

  • Anti-MLM Gold

I love this podcast for all it’s Anti-MLM goodness. The first season is the best in my opinion. It varies after that in content. Please bring back the critical and well informed (with excellent sources) focus on the MLM industry you pulled off so well I the first season 🙌

  • Second season lost its way

The first season is absolutely amazing and extremely informative. I’m not sure what happened to the second season. I feel like it’s only aimed towards people in LA cause I don’t know what she is talking about majority of the time. My last episode was dirty John, I love the content of it, but I had no idea what the dirty John story was I had to look it up. I felt like the episode was just a conversation between two people with no context. I was extremely lost in it and unfortunately, that’s when ... more

  • It’s great. And it’s fine

That she’s pointing out that Trump is a king of carnival barking. Step right up and get your Trump Steaks, Trump coins, hell, even your bogus degree from Trump “University.” All while he defunds actual education that leads to actual expertise. He’s sold more lies than Bernie Madoff. He’s the man who sold the world.

Keep going, Jane. Never stop shining a light on these arrogant, snake oil peddling narcissists.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

How Embarrassing
Q: What are people saying about us?
There is a mix of despair and bafflement, with Europeans treating American political theater as a cautionary tale about the fragility of democracy, while acknowledging long-standing alliances and economic ties that complicate any hard stance.
Magic Little Pills
Q: Why did people trust or distrust vitamins in the 20th century?
Public trust was shaped by scientific discoveries, mass production, marketing influences, and fears about deficiency; this mix led to both enthusiastic adoption and skepticism, especially as companies leveraged personal liberty narratives to resist regulation.
Magic Little Pills
Q: How did the FDA's ability to regulate supplements change over time?
Regulatory power shifted away from the FDA due to legislative actions like the Proxmire Amendment, which limited the FDA's ability to set standards, allowing the supplement industry to largely self-regulate.
Magic Little Pills
Q: What exactly is a vitamin, and how does it differ from a supplement?
A vitamin is one of 13 essential micronutrients needed in small amounts for health; dietary supplements, while they can include vitamins, are a broader category that includes many non-vitamin products and forms, such as botanicals and specialized blends.
The Antidote to Trickery
Q: How is deprogramming different than programming?
Deprogramming helps individuals recognize how they've been manipulated psychologically and enables them to reclaim their autonomy without pushing any new belief systems.
