I just adore the presenters!! Nothing better than the giggling tangents and super well researched content!!
I never knew that I was missing the funniest, most informative podcast I've ever come across! The girls are incredibly talented and I am so so lucky to have discovered this show! Best of luck to you both!
Ashlyn and Rhianna two sisters of the House Of Duras offer their delightful and insightful views on all things Trek with one off and themed shows from across the franchise.
I learned about this podcast from another Star Trek podcast and have just started exploring. I love that all the seasons they have focus on different topics. I’m currently listening to their first officers season and it is excellent! I love that they spend an entire episode on each first officer and site specific episodes they used in their discussion. As a long time Trekkie I’m officially hooked!
The relaxed and affirming style that Ashlyn and Rhianna bring to this delightfully deep podcast is an amazing enhancer to my Star Trek experience. Each series takes the boundaries of time and space and boldly goes where no one has gone before. The depth of thoughtful engagement continues to extend my thinking as I enjoy the company of these sisters and their insightful guests as I move through my daily life in my car and garden and kitchen. Thankyou

A thought-provoking Star Trek-focused show hosted by two sisters who bring a warm, conversational energy to deep dives across the franchise. Each season centers a theme (e.g., First Officers, Time Travel, feminism, or trial-law framing) and the hosts explore episodes from Original Series through newer series with philosophical questions, cultural analysis, and playful banter. Guests and occasional crossovers broaden the lens to include legal, political, and pop-culture perspectives, while maintaining a strong emphasis on character analysis, ethics, and representation. Noteworthy is the consistent pairing of accessible, friendly dynamics with rigorous topic coverage, making it approachable for casual fans and satisfying for long-time Trekkie... more
