I recently had an emergency in my family and I needed to liquidate my account and close it immediately. They simply told me "too bad" you can't liquidate, and your funds are locked up for a minimum of 3 months. NO where was this mentioned - besides the terms of the agreement, which was a 100 page document I was apparently supposed to read.
