  • Mind blown

Complex, thought provoking info packaged in easy to understand conversations. Just when I think I’ve heard it all, another episode is released and my mind is blown again. Thx for the great pod.

  • Best episode ever

Just listened to the new episode and oh my god, it’s so good. I have never purposefully reviewed a podcast, but I had to leave one and say this conversation was so well done and informative and makes me feel more optimistic about our future than I have in a while. Thank you so much for your work. Love, a 30 something, tired, married, working economist Mom.

  • Missing Rich Girl Roundups

This has been one of my favorite podcasts for about a year now. I really enjoy Katie’s analyses and deep dives into some challenging money topics. However, I really disliked the move to get rid of the rich girl roundup on Mondays. I find that the episodes now are just audio essays and no longer meant to educate people on tackling their personal finance. I love the show but I’ve found myself less interested in tuning in every week since the change.

  • GLP-1s

It’s a great pod except for the weight loss drug eps. Katie has a clear bias (she recently said on her other pod that she thinks GLP-1s are just a money grab). She could have had ONE of the MILLIONS these drugs have helped on instead of the one person who they didn’t work for.

She’s usually well-researched but this was not it. Like yes, obviously, the Big Pharma of it all is atrocious. The compounding is concerning. But the shortage is long over, the drugs have been extensively studied, and mi... more
