  • Breath of Fresh Air

Truly enjoyed the podcast with Anna Gifty Opoku-Agyeman. She was such a breath of fresh air. As a Black Women, I felt seen and validated as I listened to her share the numbers/data behind my lived experiences. While some of my experiences differed as a Canadian from Toronto, it was an illuminating conversation. I could have listened to her for an additional 60 minutes. I felt like we only touched the surface and there was so much more to be discussed. So, bottom line, adding her book to cart.

  • Personal Finance to Diabolical Lies?

I love that Katie built a thriving personal finance platform. But the veer into political mob mentality that is fostered on her Diabolical Lies platform is as advertised: diabolical. It’s a breach of trust to foster a hostile, narrow minded community. Personal finance is for everyone, regardless of how you vote. Katie, your bias is showing. Girl, bye. 👋

  • Makes you feel sane and insane at the same time

I listen to a fair amount of non-political finance podcasts, but it is nice to find a podcast that will acknowledge current legislation and societal issues along with their impact on the economy and personal finance. Your book suggestions are great and you have pointed me towards experts you have had on as guests that I might have never heard of.
