This is the best podcast in the world. Maybe it’s the insular bubble I live in but to me they’ve simply never had an incorrect take.
This show has changed me on a personal level - from the way I think about new topics to how I approach old ideas. I am fundamentally different. It’s even changed the way I watch reality TV!
I came here after reading Yesteryear (which I also enjoyed) and stayed because I love the hosts. Their combination of humor and intelligence gives me permission to be unapologetically smart while still being a human who enjoys trashy TV and 12 year old boy humor. I will not shut up about this show (I’m bord... more
Beyond excited to have come across this podcast- where have you ladies been all my life? And you’re funny. My husband recommended- that’s how I found you :)
God, this show is SO good. Katie and Caro are masters of their craft — I could listen for hours and hours. The JFK, Skinnypocalypse, and TFP/Amanda Batula episodes? Incredible.
Very fun podcast, nice to have a feminist podcast that’s explicitly anti-capitalist in a concrete way. The bama rush episode shocked me, I’m a white woman but not to that degree, felt like an alien hearing all that. It makes sense I don’t find the discussions as transgressive as I anticipated once I understood the backgrounds of the hosts. N... more

A sharp, culture-focused show that dissects current events, politics, media, and gender with a feminist lens and a statistically grounded approach. Episodes frequently balance long-form analysis with witty banter, citing sources and challenging mainstream narratives around power, identity, and society. Notable for its rigorous research, unapologetic take on controversial topics, and a strong emphasis on nuance, accountability, and women's perspectives in public discourse. This program tends to attract listeners who enjoy thoughtful critique, cultural commentary, and civilly argued disagreement, and it often features deep dives into books, media portrayals, and public figures, with a clear voice challenging dominant narratives while remainin... more
