  • Poor production quality.

Please invest in some decent sound equipment and professional production. Meaty subjects so often scuppered by immensely poor production.

  • Insightful, interesting guests, no long ads :)

I like the host and co-host. That makes a big difference. They invite the guests to share vs trying to fit an agenda. Could you please get some guests from the space of journalism. Also I don’t mind longer episodes.. especially since you have interesting guests.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Arctic Realities: The High North’s Strategic Balance and Why it Matters
Q: What indicators or data points should researchers watch to monitor Arctic security effectively?
A multidimensional approach (diplomatic, informational, military, economic—DIMEs) combined with deep OSINT on deployments, basing decisions, and infrastructure, plus robust understanding of legal governance regimes and evolving capabilities, will provide the clearest picture of changing dynamics.
Arctic Realities: The High North’s Strategic Balance and Why it Matters
Q: Katarzyna, what is the most likely short-term scenario for the High North in the next few years?
The region will remain contested and influenced by climate-driven accessibility, sovereignty claims, and ongoing great-power competition, with hybrid and gray-zone tactics likely to intensify rather than full-scale conflict in the near term.
From data to decisions: The future of OSINT
Q: If we accelerate too quickly, will the challenge of mis- and disinformation become even more of a problem?
Yes, disinformation remains a major concern as it threatens the integrity of intelligence sources.
Fundamentals first: The case for foundational intelligence today
Q: What makes Janes stand out in comparison to some other companies?
Janes has a comprehensive foundational database of sources that are rated for bias and accuracy, which offers a significant advantage over AI, which can be prone to hallucinations.
Knowledge to understanding and how to get there - part one
Q: What do we mean by putting the brain on the pedestal?
It's about elevating human understanding above just collecting data and focusing on situational awareness.
