The Wilhelm Team is a podcast about one of the most iconic sound effects used in modern cinema, the Wilhelm Scream.
Every other week the team discuss a different film, TV show or game that contains the Wilhelm Scream. They also give background on the sound design and music used within the film, tv show or game because after all this is a podcast named after a sound effect.

This podcast had all my favorite things! Friends talking about movies and making each other laugh and as a bonus they have lovely accents! A great listen for anyone who wants to learn about the infamous Wilhelm scream!
I’m so glad that a bit on Good morning Greendale helped me find this.
A very enjoyable podcast! I'm a huge fan of the Wilhelm Scream and to find a fantastic podcast about the sound and the films that use it is wonderful. It also helps that there's some good humor and banter between the three hosts. Go seek out this if you like sound in film and need something funny in your podcast list.

Short Version: This podcast is excellent.
Long Version: I listen to a Community podcast called Good Morning Greendale, they recently reviewed an episode that had the wilhelm scream in it and the presenters were wondering if there was a podcast that discussed the iconic sound effect, after a bit of searching they found this podcast and I was intrigued so I thought I would check it out myself and very glad I did, working my way through the back catalogue, really funny and interesting.
This is a thoroughly enjoyable podcast with three top gents who clearly enjoy delving into a wide variety of films, TV shows and "vidya games" and discussing them at length. They each have their fair share of knowledge when it comes to various aspects of film-making and pop culture, though they never let things get too overly analytical. More often than not they'll go off on some tangent or spout some bizarre comical analogy, and honestly... I'm here for it! Using the iconic 'Wilhelm Scream' as ... more
This has quickly become one of my favourite podcasts, it manages to be chilled out and funny whist being incredibly interesting taking some deep dives into all areas of film.

Who doesn't love a podcast about movies! The Wilhelm Team is a great podcast with knowledgable guests, funny banter and questionable reoccuring gags. It also tickles the audio enthusiast side of my brian.
Can't wait for their much anticipated review of the Wilhelm Scream in Ex On The Beach Series 5 Episode 7.

This podcast has a great mix of trivia, honest opinions and humour.
The facts about the subject matter of each pod, whether it’s a film, TV show or video game, are often quite obscure and you always learn something new and interesting.
There is a lovely humorous tone throughout the show between the hosts, who all bring their own varied views and opinions to provide a well balanced discussion.
I would recommend this podcast to anyone who enjoys movies, TV shows, video games or general pop c... more
