A great podcast covering classic Simpsons episodes with insight into what the writters room was like at the time, the general culture, and behind the scenes info that helped move a sitcom satire to the gold standard of American viewing. Bob and Henry do an excellent job of showing why this show has resonated within the tv landscape, often with the help of funny guests along the way.

Well in the first season there was maybe one ad that talked about supporting them. But as the seasons have gone on the ads have increased substantially. I'm all for them making money but my god. Their mid break ad is over 5 minutes now. Plus there's another ad break later on. I cannot stand how podcasts are just now completely ad shows with a little bit of podcast in between. I hate modern podcasting. As someone who listened to podcasts in 2016 the landscape for podcasts suck now too many ads
Ad revenue from the fourth reich tourism board is crazy
I listened to this show for about half a year now and… it’s sort of devolved. In terms of politics it’s quite the setting for them to get off topic and talk about current world politics for like 15 minutes. I’m not on either side of these sorts of situations and won’t be for a while. I love The Simpsons, but this podcast has become too much for me.
