Good podcast
I fall peacefully and deeply asleep, only to be awakened by loud ads smack in the middle. This podcast is specifically supposed to help you sleep!!
Incredibly interesting, and yet incredibly boring, at the same time. He clearly puts a lot of effort into his work and I appreciate it. I’m someone who only sleeps a few hours a day and this is the only thing that actually helps me fall asleep. As a someone who loves history I could not recommend this channel more. Also, his voice is extremely meditative. Heard about it on another podcast and I’m so glad I found it.
There simply isn’t writing off this quality to be found very often any more. This podcast is like soft velvet enveloping the listener in rich tapestry of thought and nuance that calms precisely because it engages my mind, bringing all the wayward frayed threads together and wrapping all those wandering thoughts up into yarn to be worked into the picture.
I always rewind and re-listen to any parts I slept through (and some that I didn’t sleep through but just enjoyed)
It’s not possible to sleep if you are always interrupted by ads
