Writer/filmmaker Scotty Milder and actor/theatre director Amelia Ampuero are weird. They like weird things. And they like to talk about them. From volcanos inspiring classic works of literature, to serial killers and UFOs, to “accidental foods” … nothing is too spooky, quirky, or downright strange for these two. • Smart & Funny

I feel like I stumbled upon some obscure gem with this podcast. Both hosts are gifted researchers & storytellers. Amelia’s commentary adds comic relief to serious topics & Scotty’s giggle always makes me smile. Also - Thank you for swearing! I’m basically a middle-aged lady & yet a well placed F-bomb still gives me a thrill.

2 questions: Scotty, have you heard the song “1816, The Year Without a Summer” by Rasputina? (Reference to episode 01). It’s amazing. Check it out.

  • One of my favorites

My coworker and I listen on our drives! Amelia and Scotty do an amazing job of finding really cool topics that I’ve mostly never heard of, and telling the stories while keeping me on the edge of my seat! A great and very interesting listen!

  • Well done!

I don't even like history but I love weird stuff & this podcast delivers. I actually found it just by searching the word "weird" in apple podcasts. I always listen/watch episodes in order so I'm still way behind & don't know if they ever got around to making merch. I would absolutely buy a sticker, hoodie, or tank top with a Slutty for Satan logo.

Thanks for the unique content. Keep up the good work 😘

  • Amazing Pace

I loved listening to the airlines and infrastructure episodes. Working my way backwards and forwards now. The two hosts have a natural Hilarity that, matched with interesting/off-beat stories, makes this a great podcast for commutes, work from home, disinfecting each and every one of your groceries, and more!

For real tho, 2020 aside, this podcast made my day

Burlesque is a diverse art form involving striptease and often includes elements of comedy and self-empowerment.
TWT Pocket Size #23: Movies They Just Don't Make Anymore: Kids on Adventures!
Q: Why don't they make movies like this anymore?
The way childhood is experienced has changed so much due to factors like technology and parenting styles that the movies of the past don't resonate in the same way with today's youth.
"...Who's there?" It's Mike Bockoven!!
Q: Can you give us any sort of preview on what you're working on now?
Book five is coming out next year, and it's my angry political one, a near-future techno thing.
