Very interesting listen. Great knowledge on movies with thoughtful insights. I also agree that we need to stop rebooting and do something new! Ghostbusters ? I rest my case.
If you’re a fan of film, you may reach a point where you want to know the numbers each week. Which film exceeded expectations, which tanked, what’s been hanging on longer than it had any right to... that sort of stuff. Well, this is the podcast you NEED to listen to for that! The host knows his stuff - which I’d expect since he’s in the industry himself - and always has entertaining guests that make for some great back and forth. This show has apparently just started its second season and Im gla... more
I have been a listener since Episode 1. I enjoy the behind-the-scenes perspectives on why the films are performing the way they are and all the other bits that go into the success or failure of a particular film. Shawn is very knowledgeable, engaging, and entertaining. Each week features a special guest who brings his or her own experiences and opinions to the discussion. I look forward to each new episode.
Shawn's show offers an inside look on the numbers behind the box office; the why's, the how's, the who's and the what's. It like listening to a stock market analyst, except about the feature length film industry. It is highly in depth, engaging, and I have not heard any content like it before. If you want to learn about the movie industry, business, or hear varying perspectives from his established media guests on current day movie releases - this is your podcast.
Shawn is a pro and a smart guy. Great podcast
