Early on I understood that cinematography is about serving the story; I trained myself by studying films and realizing that the image must push the narrative forward, not merely look virtuosic.

You aim to leave space instrumentally for scenes, then craft melodies that can act as memorable callbacks for characters, ensuring the music supports the scene without overpowering dialogue.

I trusted the core emotional truth of the story and the character arcs, and I aimed to give the audience a meaningful, memorable moment that would still feel true to the film's intent, even if the ending had to be altered for budget. The monologue and the quieter final beats became the emotional fulcrum that carried the film's message.
