Longer-form cinema interviews diving into filmmaking craft including acting, directing, editing, composing and so much more. I grew up watching DVD features and I always wanted to create a show that can be similar to that idea of giving audiences an understanding of the hard work and dedication that goes into filmmaking.

  • Excellent interviewer

If you love movies but more importantly love it when the interviewer genuinely loves the job, the industry, and can actively listen and ask just outstanding questions. This is the podcast. Seriously Kevin’s interview skills are masterful bc he listens and yet gets the person to tell us engaging answers. It’s a wonderful thing when you get this dynamic of active listener and engaged conversation. If you don’t already know Kevin reviews movies which are also fantastic.

  • Inspiring chat on cinema and the craft behind it.

I spent my teens glued to DVD extras just like Kevin. That pushed me toward a career in behind the scenes for HETV and film.

Listening to Kevin’s podcast taps right back into that same initial spark. His enthusiasm for cinema isn’t performative — it’s deeply informed, infectious, and rooted in real appreciation for film. this podcast will reignite that creative fire and excitement for cinema and looking forward to some more episodes.
