Q: Can you share a production anecdote that impacted how the film ultimately feels on screen?

Q: How did you approach the balance between showing social context and focusing on Shaban's subjective experience?
Morina discusses prioritizing Shaban's inner reality and experiences over explicit plot details about other characters, using the environment and social conditions as a backdrop that shapes his decisions rather than preaching a message.

Q: What were some of the most intentional formal staging choices you made, and how did they serve the themes of shame and money?
The director explains that he used careful, but intentionally restrained staging to let character performance drive the film, with key scenes designed to be almost one-shot moments that amplify tension and reveal emotional truth without flashy camera work.
Mother Mary with David Lowery and Antonio Campos (Ep. 609)
Q: Where did the seed of this idea come from?
The seed came from a tripartite inspiration during the Green Knight period, combining a desire to make a two-actor-in-a-room film with an interest in pop music and a personal exploration of how collaboration shapes identity and storytelling.
