  • Biased presentation of pressing issues

Jasmine is attempting to gain a following by aligning herself with Israeli- us policy while masquerading as a non-partisan presenter.

  • Exceptional interviews

Jasmine is an excellent interviewer, always prepared with history and current context. Crucially, she features a very diverse set of speakers which enable me to gain perspectives I do not normally receive via other media sources. Her human-centric focus is very needed in this current world. Looking forward to season 2 soon.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Myanmar's Rohingya: The Genocide No One Is Talking About
Q: What do you think should be done and can be done?
Kaamil Ahmed argues that while immediate humanitarian relief is essential, the real change requires resolving citizenship and statelessness issues, reforming regional refugee governance, and addressing systemic impunity by the state and international actors who enabled or failed to prevent the abuses.
Europe's Migration Dilemma: Can Democracies Balance Control and Compassion?
Q: Tell us a little bit about how we got here when it comes to the EU and this pact on migration.
The journey combines past crises, debates about border processing and asylum, and the recognition that long backlogs and limited legal pathways pushed people toward irregular routes; the pact attempts to reorganize arrival, processing, and returns to create a more predictable system.
You Asked, I Answered! Audience Q and A - part one
Q: What was your worst day at the Pentagon?
The toughest days were realizing the limits of influence and grappling with the frustration that even senior officials cannot always implement the policies they think are right, yet a commitment to speaking up and trying to effect change remains a driving force.
You Asked, I Answered! Audience Q and A - part one
Q: Do you believe any American officials should be charged with war crimes over Iran and Gaza?
Accountability is crucial to prevent repetition of abuses; personal history as a translator and observer underscores the importance of holding leaders and officials accountable when warranted, though practical prosecutions depend on legal and political processes.
You Asked, I Answered! Audience Q and A - part one
Q: What's something you might not know about working at the Pentagon?
Inside government work involves navigating multiple priorities and constraints; you must frame policy recommendations in terms of the bigger priorities of leadership, which is often why advocacy outside government emphasizes different tactics to influence policy from within.
