I was looking for 3 things. Hosts with good chemistry. A podcast about comic books. I got all 4 of those. It’s very hard to discover podcasts nowadays. Even after scouring the web for some decent comic book podcasts this one never came up. I happen to also listen to No Such Thing As A Bad Move, and one of the hosts also did this show.
I'm a fairly new reader of comics and this is by far the most enjoyable and approachable comics podcast I've found. Hello from across the border in Detroit!
Great show! Knowledge hosts whose infectious passion for comics has re-ignited my own. Also turned me on to manga!
You know that stereotypical “comic book guy” character? Mean, condescending, pretentious know-it-all? This podcast is the opposite of that. The hosts have a warm, inviting vibe, and they provide nice, concise context for complex comic book subjects. As others have pointed out there are so many great recommendations to be had here.
A very fine podcast which has given me a lot of comic book recs that I would never have picked up otherwise. The hosts also do great banter about industry news and random stuff
