  • Great podcast

But hard to listen to a man that talks like a valley girl.

    Edit:

I take that back. Not a great podcast if you can’t stand listening to the host. Too many “like”s and “so so super exciteeed”. Unsubscribe.

  • “Black businessmen can do anything any other businessmen do” 🤔

Just came across a blog section on UpFlip website titled “33 great business ideas for men (to start in 2025).”

Towards the end of the post, the author takes aim at “business ideas for Black males,” and honestly—it was disappointing. Saying “Black businessmen can do anything any other businessmen do” is patronizing and offensive.

There are Black entrepreneurs leading in many industries, no validation needed. Narrowing success to entertainment and fashion just reinforces harmful stereotypes.

233. How to Triple Your Revenue with a 5-step Sales Process
Q: What is the core five-step process and how does it differ from other training?
It's a structured, repeatable sequence that starts with a scripted upfront contract, followed by a full system assessment, presenting options, gaining ownership of the sale, and finally asking for the sale using a simple funnel, with emphasis on training technicians to follow the flow rather than memorizing a strict script.
231. How to Built a $600k/Year Empire With a Bucket and a $5 Ad
Q: What pricing strategy do you recommend?
Price based on costs and long-term goals, not just undercutting competitors; aim for a balance of profitability and value, often charging around $30 per yard to sustain operations and growth.
229. The 3 Metrics that Matters to Guarantee Profitability
Q: If you're starting an agency tomorrow, what's the first thing you do in the first 30 days?
Figure out the offer, focusing on one with naturally higher lifetime value and consider content-driven services that build longer-term relationships.
229. The 3 Metrics that Matters to Guarantee Profitability
Q: What is the decision founders delay that costs them their first million?
Spending real money on a second-in-command early enough; founder-led sales can be high-velocity but also risky to growth if not delegated.
229. The 3 Metrics that Matters to Guarantee Profitability
Q: What piece of common agency advice do you completely disagree with?
Sales fixes everything; it just scales problems rather than solving the underlying issues.
