The hosts of this podcast can go on ar lenght. But it is verry enjoyable. In fact the tangents they go on are usually the most entertaining.
The Beatles pod is honestly one of the worst podcasts I’ve ever heard. It’s fine that they’re not Beatles experts - but they’re judging things based on modern standards (standards that the Beatles mostly created over time!). Too many covers? Almost no artists wrote their own material in 1963. Too sweet/poppy? Try listening to what else was on the charts. Not enough variety in the album? Albums were a second-rate form in 1964.
