  • Can you say, more often?

I love the commentary and analysis! The only issue is, they don’t do it on a regular basis and it’s so random when they do. Be more consistent with your shows and I would give you a 5 star rating!

  • Excellent Wisconsin football and basketball

This is the best Wisconsin podcast by far. They are not homers but also don’t act like they know it all. They are fair to the players and coaching staff. They do an excellent job of breaking down the season and the games.

I also appreciate how they answer questions and are not afraid to tell listeners when they are off track.

What I like best about this podcast is that they cover content but don’t rehash the same subject over and over like the major sport shows.

They think regurgitating stats is the same as analysis. Hearing Jesse say that what we showed against Louisville was our ceiling was lazy. That team was hot garbage

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Wisconsin vs High Point, Badgers ready for a deep run, Jordan Taylor joins the show
Q: How far do you realistically see Wisconsin going in the tournament?
With Nolan Winter possibly limited, Wisconsin can still reach the Elite Eight or beyond if they stay healthy, shoot well enough from three, and lock down defensively; the ceiling is high but hinges on execution and health.
Badgers win at Mackey Arena again, John Blackwell bouncing back, listener questions
Q: Jake asks if the Maryland win on Senior Day without Nolan Winter is the most impressive win for Gard given all factors.
The hosts acknowledge that Wisconsin has had several strong wins, with the Michigan road game also highlighted as highly impressive, but ultimately they consider the Purdue road win on Senior Day without Nolan Winter to be among the most notable, especially given the environment and the way Wisconsin leaned on multiple players to fill gaps. They argue the Maryland win earlier in the season was also exceptional, but this Purdue performance stands out for the context and late-game execution.
Badgers bounce back against Iowa, Freddie Owens joins the show, listener questions
Q: Why is Nick Boyd getting overlooked for national awards given his production this season?
There are many excellent guards in college basketball and Wisconsin's season trajectory, early ranking volatility, and exposure factors have affected national perception; nonetheless, Boyd's on-court impact and playmaking deserve serious consideration for top guard discussions, including national awards like the Bob Cousy Award.
Badgers bounce back against Iowa, Freddie Owens joins the show, listener questions
Q: Overreaction or no, Nick Boyd is quite good at basketball.
Not an overreaction; Boyd is a consistently productive guard whose scoring, passing, and leadership have elevated Wisconsin, making him a top contributor and a strong contender for national recognition among guards in college basketball.
Wisconsin splits West Coast road trip, Braeden Carrington joins the show
Q: Nine three-pointers. Has it sunk in yet? Just what you did on Saturday.
Carrington explains it took time to realize the record, values the moment, and highlights the year's overall progression and significance of the record in the context of a season focused on contributing to the team.
