You can call Pamela Anderson an icon, you can call her a sex symbol, you can call her someone with pretty bad taste in men and/or music. But don't—and this is very important—call her 'babe.' In case that's something you were thinking about doing. SNA... more
The year was 1986, and the Brat Pack—a group of hot young actors that folks associated with each other—was on top of the world. Then these three movies were released, and that was basically the the end of that. BLUE CITY (1986, Michelle Manning) OUT ... more
We watched three movies about the scariest types of buildings: tall ones! Yes, what's scarier than a skyscraper, floor after floor of potential for terror. And the only way out? A really cool wirework stunt fall! For the love of God, just TAKE THE ST... more

i really love this podcast for how funny and fun it is, really does feel like watching a movie with friends. also reaaaaaaaally hope that they cover white of the eye (1987) soon. please please pleaaaaaase
Very funny show! Unfortunately, there were some jokes about suicide that pushed me away. That is mainly a reflection of my own sensitivity, as the subject of suicide has been very painful for me personally. This is really a rating of the comedy genre: It’s all fun and games until the comedian is joking for you to kill your self.
Look, I won’t lie I listen to The Suspense Is Killing Us on Spotify but I’ve come here, not for the fame (okay, maybe a little fame), but to say this is easily my favourite podcast I’ve ever listened to.
Structurally, it’s a seamless experience. The opening 15 minutes is spent on chit chat, anecdotes and riffing before this group of guys and gal come together to do what they do best: break down 80s, 90s and noughties suspense films (usually the ones that have been forgotten to time). Often fun... more
"The Suspense is Killing Us" has been my go-to movie podcast for the last 3 years or so. Matt, Travis, and Emalie are a fantastic team with a natural chemistry that's just fun to listen to. Their conversations are always clear and organized, making it easy to follow along without getting lost in tangents like some other podcasts. They strike the perfect balance between being laid-back and keeping things on track. The hosts are both hilarious and knowledgeable. Even when they’re critiquing a movi... more
Love the SIKU gang. This is the podcast that most feels like talking about movies with friends. They’ve all seen a ton of movies and have interesting and considered opinions on them, but they’re also funny and personable and each of the hosts has a distinct taste. Their category of focus, 80s/90s/00s suspense and crime thrillers, makes for productive limitations so they have to dig deep and find some truly little-known curios that are fun to hear about, but also allows them to touch on many of t... more
