  • Old School Grit

I’ve followed Zach Even-Esh’s work for nearly two decades now, going all the way back to his strongman competition days and the old-school era with Joe DeFranco. Zach has always represented something that feels rare now: grit, hard work, mindset, and real-world strength.

The Strong Life Podcast captures exactly that. This isn’t polished corporate fitness talk. This is the kind of show that makes you want to walk out to the garage and bang out some deadlifts. Zach’s message is simple, but powerf... more

  • Simple Advices for Those who want to Optimize Life

The recent podcast with Dr. Eric Nager was awesome. Simple but extremely powerful advice that looked at the whole person/lifestyle. The episode was valuable for young and old to optimize health and performance. I need to get my butt down to Maryland ASAP to see Dr. Nager because you can tell he looks at the entire lifestyle, not just prescribing you something! Also hitting a chest workout next to Kevin Levrone right after my doctor visit would make for a pretty great day!

  • Strong life Podcast Review

Zach, thank you for all of the work you do in creating these podcasts. I know it’s easy to think no one reviews, so no one’s listening. You’ve inspired me to create my own business and we’re celebrating 1 year in a few weeks. I’m training over 40 people locally part time. I never would have understood or even thought it was possible to do this on a part time basis with that many people.

You’ve helped me share my knowledge with my town and community. I truly feel that there aren’t many good tra... more

  • Zach = NJ Strength OG

Zach is on my current Mt Rushmore of strength coaches. No BS 30 second fitness influencers. I relate to him because we literally grew up at the same time in neighboring Central Jersey towns so our origin stories are similar. Also, my training methods mirror Zach’s. Heavy objects… sandbags, stones , tires & sprints, jumps, etc. No rules, just doing the Fn work. I recently competed at his DL comp & attended his DL seminar hosted by Nate, both awesome events w/ positive energy at the USG.

  • The best

There are a few people like Zack in the world. He constantly pushes himself and looks for the same dedication in others. This is not the podcast for all. Only a select few with that same fire in their belly will appreciate his enthusiasm for hard work in life, the gym and business. I applaud Zach for sharing his thoughts and giving his blood sweat and tears so that we may all be better.
