  • Good info

Great information, thorough with good variety. However, there is too much nasal breathing into the microphone and noisy background which is quite distracting. It sounds like the host can’t hold still and is fidgeting with a pen or computer. It could be more professional.

Mike Boyle: From Rehab to Speed Training
Q: How do you address the weekend warrior who wants to jump back into play without overdoing it?
Focus on making the sport or game the most stressful part of their week while using controlled drills, 3D movement work, and gradual progression to reintroduce load without overloading joints.
Mike Boyle: From Rehab to Speed Training
Q: Is it hard to manage slower pacing with elite or younger athletes, and how do you slow them down?
Yes, it can be challenging; the approach is to use tools like the sled to create a predictable speed loss, adjust loads progressively, and keep athletes at an appropriate stimulus so they don't overshoot into full speed.
Adult Group Program Design: The MBSC Model with Jess Tollman
Q: Can you expand on why designing for adult clients is harder and more critical than working with athletes?
Adult clients bring a wide range of goals, injuries, and life constraints; successful programs emphasize safety, long-term adherence, and clear progressions that fit real-world abilities, which is achieved through a simple, flexible framework and strong coach-client communication.
Mike Boyle on Thoracic Mobility vs. Rotary Strength: What You're Getting Wrong
Q: Coach, how are you doing?
Mike Boyle responds that he's doing great, sharing a positive update and setting a collaborative, energetic tone for the conversation.
In the Trenches with Mike Boyle
Q: Coach, how are you doing?
I am doing well, Anthony. How are you?
