238: Adam Ludwin, Founder of Fivepointfive App, Improve HRV, Calm Your Mind, and Sleep Deeper
Q: What would you say so far to date has made the biggest change to the management of your sleep?
Focusing on breathing has made the biggest difference. By concentrating on breath patterns and ensuring the right breathing techniques, Adam can significantly reduce his sleep onset time.
238: Adam Ludwin, Founder of Fivepointfive App, Improve HRV, Calm Your Mind, and Sleep Deeper
Q: What does your nightly sleep routine look like right now?
Adam typically goes to bed by 9:30 PM to ensure he gets at least seven hours of sleep. He uses magnesium before bed, practices breathwork for relaxation, and mouth tapes to enhance sleep quality.
236: Ryan Jensen, Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers Center: From Exhausted to Energized: A Super Bowl Champion’s Battle with Sleep Apnea
Q: So far to date, what would you say has made the biggest change to the management of your sleep?
The obvious answer would be getting tested for sleep apnea and treating it with a CPAP. But there's also valuable insights about choosing the right bed and pillow that significantly contribute to good sleep quality.
236: Ryan Jensen, Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers Center: From Exhausted to Energized: A Super Bowl Champion’s Battle with Sleep Apnea
Q: What is your nightly sleep routine looking like right now?
My nightly routine is probably not as good as it should be, especially having small kids. We end up doom scrolling and watching TV, and the next thing you know, it's 11:30 at night. But it's helped us to get the TV turned off and use blackout shades to create a calm sleeping environment.
237: Lynne Peeples, Science Journalist & Author of The Inner Clock: Reprogram Your Circadian Rhythm: The Secret Code of Sleep & Health
Q: What might we see in your morning sleep routine with the idea that how we start our day could impact our sleep?
Lynne opens her blinds for natural light as soon as she gets out of bed and tries to let in as much light as possible, also considering the timing of her coffee and breakfast.
