  • Jodi Kodesh

Loved the interview with Jodi Kodesh! We’ve all missed her on TV so it was so great to find out that she is doing well and started her own business. Great podcast! And because of listening to her and Scott talking I just subscribed to Scott’s podcast!

  • 4 star... for now

Love Scott and his takes. Very good interviews / conversations. Some podcast need to have the sound levels fixed (too quiet and then quickly loud at times) Really good content though. Great friends!

  • Great Guests Great Stories

Scott has great guests with great stories. The only criticism is that Scott is trying to figure out these interviews and is not used to someone else speaking all the time. He will get better. It’s still a five star podcast.

Scott Kaplan - NASCAR San Diego Preview with Qualcomm CMO & EVP Don McGuire & NASCAR SD President Amy Lupo
Q: Amy, with your ESPN and X Games background, how do you see this event fitting into San Diego's identity as a sports city and how will the Navy base environment influence the broadcast and fan experience?
The race blends traditional sports spectacle with a military and local community flavor, using three broadcast partners and unique on-site visuals (aircraft carriers, shipyards) to create a one-of-a-kind viewing experience that resonates with both locals and international audiences.
Scott Kaplan - NASCAR San Diego Preview with Qualcomm CMO & EVP Don McGuire & NASCAR SD President Amy Lupo
Q: Don, we have had you on the show many times to talk about a lot of different sports stuff, from Snapdragon Stadium to Manchester United to Formula One. What were you thinking bringing this NASCAR event to San Diego and using Qualcomm as the host brand?
We saw a unique opportunity to bring firsts to San Diego by partnering with NASCAR, leveraging Qualcomm's hometown presence, and showcasing technology on and off the track, including AI integrations and the 91 car replica; it's about brand synergy, regional pride, and creating a lasting, scalable sports-tech collaboration.
Scott Kaplan Interview Chase Fisher, Blenders Founder
Q: What has been the hardest part about transitioning, and what do you think you'll do next?
He describes the emotional shift, humility, and the need to find a second act beyond Blenders, with an emphasis on pursuing opportunities that leverage his strengths in relationships and branding rather than day-to-day operations.
Scott Kaplan Interview Chase Fisher, Blenders Founder
Q: Has it been like that for you where this was your baby and now it's gotten too big for you to operate?
Chase explains that founder-mode can outgrow the founder as a company grows, and that leadership and organizational shifts are sometimes necessary to propel the business forward.
Scott Kaplan Interviews Bear Attack Survivor Johan Otter
Q: How did you and your daughter get off the mountain and recover afterwards?
Rangers and a rescue helicopter eventually got us off the mountain; my daughter sustained serious injuries but recovered, and I faced extensive surgeries and long-term rehab before returning to running and work.
