Always a been a fan of your YouTube and the Pod for years. I adore the chatty/relaxed style that makes you feel like listening to your friends and included. The balance of ‘science’ against ‘banter’ is perfect - you can learn and NOT take yourself too seriously. Keep it up, the structure and style is spot on for an everyday runner like myself. Thanks!
I used to enjoy listening to this podcast on my long runs, however, have found recent episodes frustrating, egotistical and condescending. I would have liked to hear more from the recent guest who ran 100 marathons in 100 days but the presenters kept talking over her with their own stories. The last straw was listening male presenters advising women to use their menstrual cycle as a superpower
What have I learnt from the podcast? Andy went to the Olympics. Rick loves his hot tub. Sarah is the only normal person. They mainly talk about themselves and make everything about themselves. They are so detached from reality.
Ok podcast, Sarah just giggles it’s painful. On the other hand Andy give’s great information and makes it nice the listen and learn. There are way to many adverts . I think Andy should start a proper podcast with no giggling every 10 seconds and ads which are short. Overall decent podcast.
my favourite podcast to listen to! i love all 3 presenters. they work so well together, bringing both science and useless banter to the table. i actually really enjoy it when they digress, or when Rick says something utterly ridiculous that weirdly somehow makes complete sense. i’ve lost count of how many times I’ve burst out laughing on a run because of something that’s been said on this pod!
