It’s like having a bunch of running mates that tell you to get off your backside and join them while also having a bit of banter on the side.
I’m new to running and training for a marathon. The team keep it fun and share so much useful information in the process. Feels really accessible and I appreciate them explaining acronyms and terms a beginner wouldn’t understand.
Always love to get a new episode. They're all enjoyable to listen to on the run.
Always a been a fan of your YouTube and the Pod for years. I adore the chatty/relaxed style that makes you feel like listening to your friends and included. The balance of ‘science’ against ‘banter’ is perfect - you can learn and NOT take yourself too seriously. Keep it up, the structure and style is spot on for an everyday runner like myself. Thanks!
I used to enjoy listening to this podcast on my long runs, however, have found recent episodes frustrating, egotistical and condescending. I would have liked to hear more from the recent guest who ran 100 marathons in 100 days but the presenters kept talking over her with their own stories. The last straw was listening male presenters advising women to use their menstrual cycle as a superpower

A lively, accessible exploration of running culture, science, and training, balancing practical tips with candid banter. Episodes cycle through performance fundamentals (fueling, pacing, economy), mental wellness, and recovery, often featuring guests from sport science, coaching, and charitable endurance challenges. Brand sponsorships and live-event camaraderie are common threads, while hosts mix personal anecdotes with data-backed insights to help runners of all levels stay motivated and informed. Noteworthy are thoughtful discussions on caregiver support, mental health, and the human side of big-distance goals, plus the informal, often humorous dynamic among three regular hosts that keeps content engaging for long runs.
