The first episode I chose to listen to was the episode on the role of diet in injury prevention with Dr. Ian Seels. I was incredibly disappointed with the misinformation being shared in this episode, given that low carb diets for endurance athletes have not proven beneficial according to more recent research. I appreciate the motivation behind the podcast as a whole and enjoy most of the content. My experience listening to it, however, is sometimes spoiled by the appearance of dinosaurs who continue to espouse a counterproductive and even harmful low-carb dietary dogma. These are getting out of the author’s expertise (physiotherapy) and without coaching and deep domain knowledge there is a risk to miss the forest from the trees or worst, influence your training in the wrong direction.
