I love the new recess podcasts. One of the things I like about the Starrett’s is they let their guest talk and keep the discussion fun but centered around the guest. I get so tired of other podcasters who still just want to talk about themselves while they are interviewing a guest. But I like the new recess addition because I really do want to hear more of Juliet’s and Kelly’s thoughts and currents struggles and happenings. Love the new edition!!! Keep it up Starretts!
Funny but slightly annoying when they’re talking about a very serious topic and then suddenly launch into a commercial about their favorite cookies and cream flavored sports drink and how much they love that, and how their kids just go crazy for lemon berry electrolytes. That is podcasting in 2026 I guess!
I have listened to the Starretts for a while now. I have read their book Born to Move as well. Their advice is great and I incorporate it into my everyday routines. They inspire me to live a better, healthier life! Very glad I found their podcast.
I’ve followed Kelly and Juliet Starrett since the early MobilityWOD days and even visited San Francisco CrossFit to learn from Kelly in person. Their teachings have shaped how I coach and helped countless clients move and live pain-free.
This podcast perfectly captures what makes them special—making performance, mobility, and pain-free living part of everyday conversation. It gets people talking about what fitness really means for them and how to quiet the industry noise to find what works.

Informative, entertaining and transformative, real questions by real people. Juliet and Kelly’s interview styles work well together; both asking questions in different ways that I wouldn’t have thought of. Both have a rich history in fitness and competition yet are real and relatable. Fabulous guests who are famous and experts in their own right
