  • Those Magic 10 minutes.

As simple as the message is in KAT’s podcast so with this review be. 10 minutes is indeed easy to find - and it is indeed HUGELY effective. This podcast is friendly, calm and supremely well structure to add value to the listener. I am very grateful that I found it and promptly “smashed”the subscribe button…

  • Disappointing

Completely obvious comments made throughout- nothing is new that hasn’t been said before in this interview- interviewer is clearly following a script and talks much more than the guest in parts of the interview. Also has a lazy voice that croaks which is distracting to listen to.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Food Fear to Food Joy: Reimagining Pasta
Q: Why is pasta good for us, especially for your pasta?
Imogen explains that their pasta uses ancient grains like spelt, grown regeneratively and dried slowly to preserve nutrients and flavor, while avoiding the downsides of highly processed, fast-produced pasta. This approach supports digestion and a more enjoyable eating experience.
How Kitchen Discos Build Confidence
Q: What's the thing you swear by, the thing that gets you in a really good state, would you say?
The kitchen disco party. Putting on a favorite song and dancing around in the morning sets my energy, mood, and readiness for the day, creating a positive ripple effect that carries into work and life.
Don’t Wait for a Seat at the Table - Create One
Q: So how do you get to be the only person in the whole entire world doing what you are doing? Tell us, how did it start?
The guest explains that he carved out a role by promoting the entire rum category rather than just acting as a brand ambassador, gradually earning recognition from brands and companies, and eventually choosing to lead his own narrative rather than wait for a traditional seat at the table.
Your limitations are an illusion
Q: What practical steps do you recommend to overcome self-limiting beliefs in everyday life?
Start with a concrete, repeatable process; surround yourself with people who uplift you; engage in habits like journaling, prayer, and public speaking practice (Toastmasters); make goals fun to reduce fear, and visualize success while taking tangible actions.
How to Listen to Yourself in a World Full of Noise
Q: How did your personal journey influence your approach to work and leadership at Albany?
The experience taught me the importance of authenticity, accessibility, and caring for the whole person. By prioritizing clear communication, vulnerability, and a balanced approach to stress, I've built trust with my team and created an academy to develop younger colleagues.
